AID FOR FRIENDS: We feed the hungry, visit the sick and handicapped….loving and serving Christ as we share our love with his forgotten children. Because of Aid For Friends services, our meals, visits and caring keep people in their home rather than be institutionalized. H.O.P.E. COMMITTEE: “Helping Other People Enthusiastically” Assisting the home bound and others with their needs; grocery shopping, driving them to doctor and hospital visits, or just spend quality time as a companion to them.Click here to contact someone for more information
HOSPITALITY COMMITTEE: In order to enhance fellowship within the community, this committee provides light refreshment following Sunday Liturgy.
MOTHER TERESA’S FOOD CUPBOARD: Every 3rd weekend of the month, non-perishable food is collected for outreach to Mother Teresa’s Cupboard, Catholic Social Services and St. Patrick’s in Norristown. MMR’s PROGRAM FOR THE HOMELESS: Volunteers from the parish donate food for the following shelter in Center City, Philadelphia: St. John’s Hospice/The Good Shepherd Program (for men). Collections are held the 1st Sunday of each month including the Saturday of that same weekend. The collections are timed with the Sunday Mass Schedule. Many volunteers are needed for this program – we need cooks to make casseroles, volunteers to donate food, and drivers to transport the the donations to Center City.
MMR SENIOIRS: Seniors have monthly luncheons, some with speakers or entertainment. They also have several social events including a Christmas Luncheon and Communion Breakfast. Contact the parish office for more information.
MoM Prayer Group of MMR: This ministry of caring mothers gets together to pray the rosary for all our parish and school children. All are welcome. Click here to contact someone for more information.

PARISH NURSE MINISTRY: The Parish Nurse Ministry encourages the promotion and maintenance of the physical, emotional and spiritual well being of our parishioners. they do this by having regular blood pressure screenings, an annual Health Fair and providing monthly health news to the Sunday Bulletin.Click here to contact someone for more information

PRAYER CHAIN: Aprayer chain is active in the community and a prayer list is published in the weekly church bulletin. Please contact the parish office to add a name to the list.
REGISTER TAPE COMMITTEE: Save your Redner’s register tapes and place them in the box in the narthex. Our committee calculates the tapes and MMR receives a percentage of the total.
REDEEMER GUILD: This group is composed of parishioners who volunteer their services to clean the church every Tuesday morning.
SCRIP: Scrip is an on-going parish fund raiser that sells gift cards for several supermarkets and department stores. MMR receives 5% of the sales and the purchaser receives a $1.00 MMR voucher for every $50 purchases. when you have $50 in MMR vouchers you can redeem them for cash twice a year during the months of January and July. ST. FRANCIS ECOLOGY COUNCIL/REDEEMER GARDEN COMMITTEE: The St. Francis Ecology Council focuses on environmental awareness and environmental education.
