The Sacrament of the Eucharist

“The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life. The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it. For in the blessed Eucharist is continued the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself…” (Catechism of the Catholic Church, #1324)

Weekdays (Mon-Fri):    7:30 AM (and 9:00 AM Advent and Lent only)
Saturdays:                   8:00 AM
Sundays:                     5:15 PM (Vigil), 7:30AM, 9:00AM, 10:45AM  & 12:30PM
Holy Days:                  7:00 PM (Vigil), 7:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 12:10 PM, and 7:00 PM

 

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

It occurs on Fridays, between September (after Labor Day) and May (before Memorial Day).
It takes place in the Chapel from
8:00 AM – 7:00 PM (concluding with Benediction)

 

Communion for the Homebound

A Priest or a Deacon will visit homebound parishioners one time per month, and an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion will visit every Sunday. To place a homebound individual on the Communion Call list, please call the Parish Office.

 

First Communion

Parents who have children enrolled in private Catholic schools should contact our Director of Religious Education to make arrangements for First Holy Communion. At Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Parish, our School and PREP children receive their first communion in 3rd Grade.
