The Beta Club is the largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization in America. The Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Beta Club chapter invites new members in grades 6 & 7 and returning members in grade 8 to participate.
The Beta club encourages:
- Achievement
- Character
- Leadership
- Service
The criteria to apply for admission will be as follows:
- Student must achieve an “90″ in all academic areas on the 1st Trimester Report Card
- Student must maintain a “3″ or “4″ in all areas or attain principal’s approval
- Completed application
- Faculty approval
- Commendable attitude
The criteria to retain active membership is as follows:
- Attendance at monthly meetings
- Participate in Beta activities
- Complete the Annual Service Project
- Student must maintain an “88″ or higher in all academic areas
- Student must maintain a 3 or 4 in all Special subjects, Personal Growth and Effort
- Maintain a commendable attitude and good behavior practices as per the MMR School Handbook
