 Frequently Asked Box Tops Questions

What do we do with the money we earn?
*Last year, we purchased a smart board for the school.  This year, we purchased new equipment for the recess yard, including koosh ball disc sets,  volleyballs, all-purpose goals, soccer balls, sidewalk chalk, foam baseballs, hula hoops and more!  All students benefit from the money we earn through this wonderful program!

What can I do to help?
*Please continue to clip box tops from products to support MMR’s earnings.  Kindly check that the expiration date has not passed AND clip the coupon along the dotted lines.  These extra efforts will help our volunteers who spend a great deal of time prepping Box Tops for submission.

What is Box Tops for Education?

Box Tops for Education is a nationwide program that generates cash earnings for schools. It turns your typical weekly grocery trip into a opportunity to earn money for our school. MMR receives 10 cents for each Box Top we collect. The more we collect, the more we earn!

What does a ‘Box Top” look like?

The Box Tops logo (above) appears on hundreds of grocery and other household products. Examples of participating products include General Mills products such as Cheerios; Kleenex, Hefty and Ziploc bags, Yoplait Kids Yogurt, Avery office products, and many more! A complete list of participating Box Tops products can be found here.

What do I do with the Box Tops?

Simply clip the Box Tops logos and send them to school. Collection containers are located in each classroom. Put your Box Tops in an envelope or plastic baggie with your child’s name, teacher’s name and classroom on it. (Preschool students of Mrs. Paul & Mrs. Harkin are kindly asked to designate whether they are in the 3 year or 4 year program on their submissions).

You can also use these collection sheets to make collecting Box Tops more fun. Print these collection worksheets, color them and fill them with Box Tops to send to school!

OR…SHOP ONLINE & Earn eBoxTops! Simply shop online through the official Box Tops web site and MMR will be electronically credited! You can purchase products from some popular stores, such as Target, Shutterfly, Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, Kohls, and Toys R Us to just name a few from Box Tops website. You’ll earn cash for MMR and take advantage of special offers like free shipping, percentage-off deals and more! Over 100 retailers give eBoxTops to MMR when you shop online at the Marketplace. Just like regular Box tops, eBoxTops are worth 10 cents each for MMR!

Why should my family participate?

Clipping BOXTOPS has its REWARDS for MMR and for your child’s classroom! Each Box Top earns 10 cents for MMR, and every cent helps us fund programs and activities for our children. This type of fundraiser is easy! It’s just a piece of paper on a food container you may already have in your kitchen or in your weekly grocery cart. No amount is too small to submit. Saving those little Box Tops can add up quickly, particularly when everyone participates!

HSA will sponsor a Pizza Party for the classroom (Pre-K through grade 8)
with the largest Box Tops collection EACH TRI-MESTER!!

KEEP CLIPPING!
