Pre-School Arrival/Pick-Up Procedure
Morning Arrival is from 8:15am to 8:30am and Afternoon Arrival is from 12:30pm to 12:45pm. We ask that you park in a marked space and escort your child to the hallway outside of their classroom. You can help your child quickly transition to the teacher by encouraging them to enter the classroom without you. We invite you to enjoy the children’s artwork that will always be on display in the halls. In the morning, no one may ever park in the church circle for any reason.
Pick-up will begin at 11:15am for the morning classes and at 3:05pm for the afternoon classes. Please queue in the church circle and remain in your car. Your child will be escorted to you by a member of the staff and assisted into your vehicle. To keep the line moving, the staff cannot assist with buckling children into car seats. If your child is unable to buckle him/herself, please pull forward through the line and park. At that time you will be able to secure your child properly and safely in the car seat.
Transportation Permission
Please be sure that you’ve completed the Transportation Permission form sent to you via Alert Now. Your child will only be released to the people listed on that form unless you contact either your child’s teacher or the Preschool office requesting otherwise. A link to this form is below if you need to update it over the course of the year. We MUST receive either an email in the office or a written note to the teacher notifying us of the change. You may put this note in your child’s school bag the day of the change or contact the office at jjudge@mmredeemer.org
Transportation Changes Due to Funerals
If at any time you arrive at the circle for pick-up and there is a hearse parked there, please exit the church grounds through the traffic light entrance and reenter via the One Way entrance. In the event of a funeral, the children will be dismissed from the entrance at the end of the Preschool hallway. We will make every effort to notify you in advance of this change.
