Fair Trade Work is more than a way to make a living; it is a form of continuing participation in God’s creation. If the dignity of work is to be protected, then the basic rights of workers must be respected - the right to productive work, to decent and fair wages, to the organization and joining of unions, to private property, and to economic initiative.
Learn more about the Dignity of the Worker at the Fair Trade Sale on December 2nd and 3rd after all Masses hosted by the Catholic Social Teaching Committee. Fair Trade Chocolates and Coffee through SERVV International can be purchased. We will also host Water is Life Kenya on Sunday, December 3rd with beaded handicrafts for sale.
Proceeds from the coffee and chocolate will help fund our Mothers' Day Helping Hands Event.
