Reconciliation

“Those who approach the sacrament of Penance obtain pardon from God’s mercy for the offense committed against Him, and are, at the same time, reconciled with the Church which they have wounded by their sins and which by charity, by example, and by prayer labors for their conversion.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church, #1422)  

Schedule

The sacrament of Reconciliation (or “Penance”) is offered every Saturday, from 4:00-4:45 pm; and Monday evening from 6:00-7:00 pm. The Reconciliation Rooms are located in the Chapel.  One may also arrange an appointment with a parish priest to receive the sacrament by contacting the Parish Office at (215) 362-7400.  

First Penance

At Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Parish, our School and PREP students receive their first Penance in 2 ^nd Grade. If your child attends a private Catholic academy or other religious education program, please contact our Director of Youth Faith Formation.
